AEW
- CM Punk called out Kazuchika Okada on Twitter earlier today. This stems from a Sports Illustrated interview from Monday where Okada expressed interest in facing both Punk and Bryan Danielson. “Danielson and Punk would make for some incredible matches,” Okada said. “A lot of those dream match scenarios are about getting excited for the possibilities, and once the match is done, it’s done. So it is important to keep that excitement and anticipation, I think. Still, if we wait too long, they’ll both retire eventually, so I want to face them both while they’re still active.”
- This week’s Road to AEW Dynamite and Battle of the Belts, focusing on the title matches that will take place Wednesday and Saturday.
- Eddie Kingston talked to Yahoo Sports about being himself. He said that AEW should sign everyone: “This is my thinking. If you bring in all of these guys, it makes me step up my game. If I step up my game, it leads to a better product. A better product means more people will watch and more people will talk about AEW. That’s what we all should do. Some people don’t think that way and it’s on them, but they’ll be left behind. It’s nobody’s fault but their own. At the end of the day, if I’m pushing myself and everybody is pushing themselves, it’s good TV and AEW gets bigger.”
- Max Caster says he is one of the judges for tomorrow’s AEW World title match between Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson.
- Ho Ho Lun spoke to the South China Morning Post about his recent appearance on AEW Dark.
